The Secret To Channel Success: Quit Using Spreadsheets

We all know it’s true: A lot of channel programs are still being managed with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. It’s far more common than you’d expect, even in some of the larger companies. And, honestly, there’s nothing wrong with using spreadsheets if you want to manage a very small program, incentive, or campaign — or even analyze a set of data. But ask for anything complex, and your spreadsheet is probably creating more work than it’s doing. Here are five signs you need an incentive platform, not a spreadsheet.

AVG Managed Workplace (Level Platforms): RMM Product Review - 2014 Update

Lots of changes with the Level Platforms product in 2014. The biggest is probably that the product was rebranded AVG Managed Workplace® following acquisition of the business  of Level Platforms by AVG in June 2013. In Q4 2013, AVG updated RMM pricing to a straight forward ‘per device’ & ‘per server model’.  That is to say the MSP only pays for the number of servers and devices they manage regardless of their locations and customer spread. This is intended to simplify billing and provide clarity for the MSP both in terms of expenditure & revenues.

GFI: RMM Product Review - 2014 Update

Since 2013, GFI MAX has seen some significant changes such as remote background management (Real-time connectivity to end-client devices for management and remediation), mobile device management of Android- & iOS-based devices (Windows Phone already under development), and a new help desk and customer service solution with integrated ticket-creation in RemoteManagement.
