OKI Data Americas Unveils Two New Mid-Workgroup Series A4 Color And Monochrome Multifunction Printers Featuring The Smart Extendable Platform

Feature-rich and easy to use devices deliver impressive speed, high definition print quality and enhanced security to facilitate greater productivity and workflow at a low total cost of ownership

OKI Data Americas announces the expansion of its broad and award-winning product portfolio with the introduction of two new series of full-featured, A4 multifunction printers (MFPs) – the MC770/MC780 Series color MFPs and the MB760/MB770 Series monochrome MFPs. These new MFPs combine high-speed output, high print quality, enhanced feature sets, enriched user interface, and OKI’s smart Extendable Platform for streamlined document workflow processing. These qualities, plus a low total cost of ownership, deliver a compelling value proposition to the mid-workgroup segment.

The color MC770/MC780 Series and monochrome MB760/MB770 Series MFPs are impressive four-in-one devices which deliver print, copy, scan and fax functionality at a competitive price-point, boasting a low cost per copy. These devices offer print speeds of up to 42 color pages per minute and up to 55 monochrome pages per minute1, plus robust scanning capabilities that allow convenient processing and sharing of digitized documents.

Each of these new MFP series offers four configurations to meet the demands of busy work environments and all are available through the channel. These MFPs offer expanded paper capacity up to a maximum 3,160 sheets, plus wireless functionality as a special order. Convenient stapling and finishing capabilities are also available on most models2. Beyond standard media handling capabilities, these devices are able to print banners of up to 52 inches in length with ease. In addition, these new MFPs allow users to manually feed individual sheets of up to 140 lb. index bristol. All are backed by a one-year limited On-Site warranty3 and industry-leading five-year limited LED printhead warranty.

All models within these series feature an easy to use nine inch touch screen control panel plus the smart Extendable Platform – an open application programming interface platform for which an expanding suite of solutions is available through OKI Data Americas. Using this platform, customers and solution partners can easily integrate these MFPs into their work environments, adding customized solutions to meet their specific business needs and further-increase efficiencies.

“OKI Data Americas is pleased to introduce the new color MC770/MC780 Series and monochrome MB760/MB770 Series A4 MFPs to the marketplace and to OKI’s expanding portfolio of high-quality and highly-regarded printing solutions,” said Hiroyuki Fukushima, Director of Non-Impact Printer Product Marketing for OKI Data Americas. “Industries including retail, healthcare, education, government, manufacturing/transportation and finance will appreciate the versatility and advanced functionality of these devices with OKI’s smart Extendable Platform.”
