ConnectWise Earmarks $20m To Encourage Innovation In Managed Services Space

After teasing us for a few days about the upcoming announcement, ConnectWise has rolled out its newest project, ConnectWise Capital, and arm of the PSA vendor that will focus on investing up to $20 million into the IT channel. The goal, says David Bellini, cofounder of ConnectWise, and in charge of this project, is to identify and support emerging products and services that create a market advantage and new opportunities for the IT Channel.

A committee will evaluate potential investments, both established products that just need a marketing push and those still in the incubation stage, in terms of how they can help fuel innovation in the IT channel.

"Ultimately, we're looking first at what SMBs need to gain a competitive advantage in their business, and then how that need can translate into a differentiator for our partners," explains Bellini.
