Hopefully your POS customers look to you as a trusted advisor. And, hopefully you're leveraging that relationship for add-on sales of complementary technologies. If you're not, you could be missing huge opportunities. A good example of this can be seen in a recent win VAR Retail Information Systems (RIS) had with its customer, a large retail chain with 150 stores. During a site visit, Madhu Bontha, president of the VAR, was talking with his contact at the retailer. After speaking, Bontha recognized an opportunity to offer the retailer a new video security and analytics solution.
