The new StoneFlex USS provides SMEs the option to effectively utilize and configure storage and servers in one single multi-purpose appliance.
StoneFly, Inc., the leading supplier and innovator of integrated IP storage area network (SAN) systems, has unveiled the latest product in the StoneFlex line, the StoneFlex Unified Storage & Server (USS). Catered to Cloud Computing Providers and Small and Midsized Enterprises (SMEs), this appliance is ideal for customers that desire to run several virtualized operating systems at the same time.
The StoneFlex USS comes in four models, the USS1600, USS1600-HA, USS2400 and USS2400-HA. USS Hardware is packed with latest and greatest technologies to provide the best possible performance in a most cost effective package. Technologies such as multiple 10Gb Interface, load balancing, two multi core processors, up to 192GB memory, and 6Gb SAS technology is what you can expect from the USS.

"StoneFlex USS can be configured with multiple virtual machines to house both your Storage and Servers." StoneFlex USS-HA will provide the similar functionality, but is fully redundant to provide 24/7 availability.
In addition, by combining servers and storage into one, the USS Series is equipped to house flexible Virtual Machines where consumers can load their own operating systems and applications they desire. The USS can house a variety of guest operating systems, including any flavor of Windows Server OS, Windows Storage Server (WSS) OS, Linux OS, or any other Operating Systems of customer's choice.
