Touch Dynamic Releases Mini POS PC

Touch Dynamic is now shipping the newest addition to its Booksize PC product line. Based on Intel's smallest processor, Touch Dynamic's new Saturn Atom Booksize PC measures only 8.75 x 5.43 x 1.5 inches yet boasts an amazing 1.6GHZ fanless CPU. Designed for those POS applications where counter space is limited but processing requirements aren't, the Saturn PC offers all the features needed for most POS applications including:

  • Intel Atom 1.6GHZ CPU
  • Fanless
  • 4 Serial Ports
  • Small Form Factor
  • Wall Mountable
  • Spill Resistant
  • Gigabit Lan
  • Optional Wireless

Designed for low power PCs and mobile device's, Intel's® Atom™ Processor packs 47 million transistors on a single chip measuring less than 26mm, making it Intel's smallest and lowest power processor. All this while delivering the power and performance needed for full Internet capabilities. "With this kind of processing power in such a small package, we saw an immediate application for a reduced size PC for those many POS environments where size, heat, noise and power consumption restrictions ruled out the use of normal size PC's." observed Touch Dynamic's President Craig Paritz. "Our reseller partners have been asking for ever smaller PC's for their end users for some time and the specs of this new model address their size and power concerns and a lot more." he added.
