Westcon Canada announced that its Avaya New Partner Boot Camp will be held in Toronto between Tuesday, February 9th and Thursday, February 11th at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto International Airport. The two and a half day boot camp will provide an Avaya onboarding orientation and detailed product portfolio information designed to help accelerate the transition of Nortel-oriented resellers as they look toward becoming Authorized Avaya BusinessPartners.

By participating in the Boot Camp, attendees will receive onboarding experience to create new market opportunities with Avaya products, services and solutions. Networking opportunities with Westcon Canada and Avaya representatives, as well as industry-leading Avaya DevConnect vendors, will be available during a Mini-Trade Show. While some product overviews and technical issues will be covered, the program is presented as an onboarding for business leaders rather than a technical training session. Students will participate in learning sessions that include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

• Practical advice on becoming a successful Avaya BusinessPartner from leaders who have served in roles within a successful Avaya BusinessPartner

• Avaya Connect, the Avaya BusinessPartner Program
• The Avaya Go-to-market strategy
• New Avaya BusinessPartner reseller orientation
• Westcon Convergence on-boarding (Rapid Ramp)

Upon completion of this Avaya BusinessPartner Boot Camp, attendees will be able to become Avaya Authorized BusinessPartners with the ability to pursue specific Product Authorizations/Certifications necessary to support Avaya business.
