She is a former staff member of the Laurel Group Newspapers, Trib Total Media, in Westmoreland County, PA, editing The Independent-Observer, Scottdale, PA’s community newspaper, for six years. Before joining Business Solutions she worked for Larson Texts,which produces mathematics books for middle school through college, and contributed to a number of newspapers and magazines as a freelance writer.
