One of my favorite times at CompTIA Breakaway always is working with a group of industry leaders to share information with Breakaway attendees. This year was no different; I had the pleasure of working with leaders from four distributors: Greg Dixon, CTO of ScanSource; Joe Quaglia, SVP of U.S. marketing for Tech Data; Kirk Robinson, VP & GM of the commercial markets division of Ingram Micro; and Bob Stegner, SVP of North America marketing for SYNNEX. With the goal of helping VARs and MSPs get more from their vendor partners and distributors, we talked about everything from unique distribution services to gaining visibility with your distributor partners. I asked my panelists to stay a few minutes late and offer their advice in video form for those of you who couldn't make the show.
