D-Link Grants Tech Data An Open Letter Of Supply

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., September 9, 2008 — D-Link, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for
consumer and business, today announced it has issued an open Letter of Supply to Tech Data Corporation
(NASDAQ GS:TECD) to sell its TAA-compliant products to government resellers who will offer the products
on their GSA schedule.
The five-year contract will provide approved government resellers with the ability to purchase D-Link
products through Tech Data. This will allow Tech Data's government reseller customers to easily add D-Link
products to federal and state contracts. Included in the product line-up are D-Link's full lines of TAAcompliant
networking solutions, including the energy efficient Green switches.
D-Link® Green Ethernet™ technology integrates innovative power-saving feature that automatically detects
link status along with cable length and adjusts power accordingly. Incorporating the new energy-saving
technology are the D-Link Web Smart 16-Port (DGS-1216T), the 24-Port (DGS-1224T) and the 48-Port
(DGS-1248T) network switches.
