D&H Distributing's Solutions Lab Presents 1/26 'Small Form Factor' System-Build Webcast

The Leading IT Distributor Kicks-Off the 2012 Solutions Lab Schedule with a Webcast Session on Deploying Small Form Factor Systems, Including a Live Q&A

D&H Distributing, the major computer products and consumer electronics distributor, would like to invite its reseller customers to participate in the company's first Solutions Lab event of 2012, the "Build-It: Small Form Factor PC" Webcast. The session will be broadcast on January 26 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET from D&H's state of the art Solutions Lab facility. It will instruct customers on how to assemble small form factor systems, such as ATX and MicroATX installations. During the webcast, D&H's system builder experts Bill Hersh and Larry Henry will conduct a hands-on assembly of a small-form factor PC, built around Intel's powerful, vPro-enabled Mini-ITX desktop board.

The webcast will explore the specific challenges of an SFF system assembly, including how to ensure proper air-flow for maximum performance. After the "build" is complete, Hersh and Henry will be available to answer participants' questions from the Lab in a live Q&A session. One lucky attendee will win an Xbox 360 Kinect bundle.

The D&H Solutions Lab is a cutting-edge training facility which launched in 2011, located at D&H's Harrisburg headquarters. From this location, D&H films and broadcasts various lessons and installation demos that illustrate how to build custom systems, create server networks, and other tutorials. The programs are presented in outstanding detail, giving resellers step-by-step instructions comparable to what they'd receive during an in-person seminar, including minute elements that more broad-based trainings tend to gloss-over. Future Solutions Lab presentations will be available as full-length video sessions or technical "shorts." Some will be viewable via a webcast format and others will be conducted as on-site events.

Small form factor systems not only save space and environmental resources for the end-user, but also present reduced shipping costs, making them advantageous for SMB resellers. D&H is leveraging its new Lab to help reseller gain expertise on these SFF systems in light their benefits in the SMB market.
