During Autotask Community Live, Equus unveiled its new managed services and hardware-as-a-service offering. Spearheading the announcement was Frank Gurnee, VP of Channel Sales, Managed Services, a familiar face in the managed services community. Gurnee explained that the offering (read the full release here), as well as the drivers behind the offering. "We wanted to have this low the barrier to entry when it comes to managed services," says Gurnee. For instance, four elements were on the list of issues Equus wanted to address: set-up fees (they've been waived), cost (competitive with other outlets), and risk (early-out clause is part of agreement).
