Ingram Micro Promotes Justin Scopaz

(Carlsbad, CA) — Value-added distributor Ingram Micro recently appointed Justin Scopaz as GM and VP of its Data Capture/Point of Sale Division. In this new role, Scopaz will replace John Soumbasakis as GM of the Data Capture/POS Division and take on the day-to-day responsibility of leading the division toward meeting its growth initiatives. Scopaz will report directly to Soumbasakis, who was recently named senior VP and GM of Strategic Divisions for Ingram Micro North America. Scopaz joined the Data Capture/POS Division in late 2004. Prior to this appointment, he oversaw the division's vendor management and marketing teams.
