OKI Data Americas Launches Two New Color LED Printer Series For SMB Market, Combining HD Color Technology And Productivity Enhancements

C610 Series and C711 Series of color printers increase the impact of color output, offering maximum efficiency for medium and large workgroups

OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI Printing Solutions brand, announces the addition of two new series of digital color printers designed for medium and large workgroups with the launch of the C610 Series and the C711 Series. Offering HD (high-definition) Color Technology™, both the C610 Series and C711 Series allow users to produce high-quality, color documents in-house, therefore reducing lead/turn-around time, cost and potential waste associated with outsourcing.

The C610 Series from OKI Printing Solutions comes in four configurations that deliver a compact footprint of just 17.1" x 21.5" x 13.4" and best in class print speeds¹ up to 32 ppm² color and 34 ppm mono2. With a monthly duty cycle of 75,000 pages, it's a perfect fit for small-to-medium sized businesses and medium workgroups enabling output with sharp detail and rich, dramatic color. Featuring a 400-sheet standard paper capacity (which is expandable to 1,460 with optional second and third paper trays), the C610 Series is also flexible enough to handle paper weights to 250 gsm. Powered by Single Pass Color™ Digital technology and 1200 x 600 dpi resolution, the C610 Series provides users crisp and clear output on a variety of media from 3" x 5" cards to 8.5" x 52" banner-size sheets.

The C711 Series is designed to fit comfortably in any office environment with a footprint of 17.1" x 21.5" x 15.3" and comes in three configurations. The C711 Series delivers sharp output at 34 ppm color2 and 36 ppm mono2 maximizing productivity and efficiency for large workgroup environments. Adding to the great design and function, the new color printer offers professional media flexibility with 52" banner capabilities, up to 1,690 paper capacity and 100,000 page monthly duty cycle.

Users can control color printing on both series through a no-charge utility called Color Access Policy Manager (CAPM) from OKI Printing Solutions. CAPM allows for the control, monitoring and tracking of color by defining who can print and what gets printed, making color printing on these devices even more cost effective. Access levels can be assigned by user name, PC/Server name, application, file name and even web site address.
