Sealy Finds Enhanced Support With BancTec's Fully Automated Accounts Payable Processing System

Global BPO provider selected by one of world’s largest bedding brands to help process some 144,000 invoices annually

BancTec, a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO) for financial transaction automation and document management, announced that Sealy, one of the world’s largest bedding brands, has selected its fully automated Accounts Payable Processing System over a number of national and local BPO and software companies.

“We are excited to help Sealy increase productivity, improve visibility and reduce its cost per invoice,” said Chuck Corbin, vice president of strategy and business development, BancTec. “Our web-based AP Master pay-as-you-go model will automate Sealy’s current accounts payable process and will help provide significant long-term financial and process gains.”

AP Master will give Sealy improved control of accounts payable through automation and web-based workflow. It will increase visibility into outstanding liabilities, invoice status and AP process performance through tracking tools and metrics reports. Through the creation of audit trails and electronic archives, Sealy will realize increased productivity in electronic documentation retention and retrieving. Other benefits include the elimination of manual data entry errors and reduced risks associated with lost or misfiled documents.

“Using our invoice module, vendor portal and purchase order functionality with AP Master, Sealy will be able to address challenges at every stage of the accounts payable process, allowing for reduced costs, increased controls and maximum efficiency,” said Corbin. “Our easily configured solution will help give Sealy a competitive edge in the marketplace.”
