My Own Sports Can Easily and Cost Effectively Set Up Merchants Accounts and Accept Credit Cards, Thanks to Sage's Latest Program for Software Developers
Sage North America recently announced Tustin, Calif.-based My Own Sports, a leader in online sports tournament and league management, has joined the Sage Payment Solutions Development Partner Program. As a member of the program, My Own Sports can offer integrated, Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant credit and debit card payments within their online, Software as a Service-based (SaaS-based) system. Integrating their online web application to the Sage Exchange payments platform allows My Own Sports to remove their application from the scope of the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS).
"The Sage program for software developers lets us cost effectively provide our customers with a payment experience that is integrated, secure, and PA-DSS compliant," said Ed Sandoval, CEO of My Own Sports. "Integrated payments, simplicity of setting up a merchant account, and the ability to accept credit cards offers huge value for us and our customers. Just as important, because integrating to Sage Exchange removes our online platform from the scope of PA-DSS, we're saved from the costs and complexities associated with coding to PCI."
