Payment Engine Software Integrates With POS Equipment
Precidia Technologies Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of Internet Protocol (IP) payment and networking products, announced recently the certification of its TransNet payment engine software by Merchant e-Solutions, Inc. (MeS), a leading global e-commerce payment provider. This Class 'B' certification allows merchants using the POSLynx220/TransNet payment solution to route credit and debit transactions to the Merchant e-Solutions host.
TransNet is payment engine software that is housed on a secure hardware platform, such as the POSLynx220 payment router from Precidia. This secure hardware model delivers the industry's most comprehensive approach to security, with features such as SSL encryption, field-tested firewalling and PCI PA-DSS validation. TransNet also includes features designed to assist merchants in maintaining PCI compliance. Remotely deployed for more efficient installations, TransNet integrates easily with a range of POS equipment, such as electronic cash registers (ECRs) and POS systems. Processing all transaction types, including credit, debit, gift and loyalty to a wide range of certified processors, TransNet can route transactions directly to multiple processors by card type. The TransNet solution is easily managed using the NetVu management server, which offers tools that make 24/7 support of the merchant easier for ISOs and Dealers. These tools include pager and email alerts, remote configuration and application downloads, and transaction logs.
"We're pleased to certify the TransNet payment engine for use by our customers", said Jim Aviles, COO, Merchant e-Solutions. "TransNet expands the offerings available to merchants who wish to integrate payments with existing POS equipment or applications, delivering a simple, flexible and secure approach to payments."
Precidia Technologies President Deepak Wanner believes that merchants are looking for alternative integrated payment solutions: "TransNet offers several unique benefits not available with competitive solutions, including remote deployment and management, and the ability to route directly to multiple processors by card type", said Mr. Wanner. "The solution's enhanced management tools, together with industry leading security and functionality, make it a winning solution for merchants".
TransNet is used in a variety of retail payment applications, and integrates easily with ECRs, PC Systems, IP/Dial payment terminals, POS applications and e-commerce websites. For more information on Precidia's Payment solutions, visit www.precidia.com/payments.
