Case Study: Accuvant Achieves Record Growth With Websense® Security Solutions

Since its founding in 2002, Accuvant's co-founders knew they wanted to work with Websense. According to Dan Wilson, co-founder and vice president of Partner Alliances at Accuvant, the IT security provider knew that Websense's expertise and product portfolio would play a strong role in the company's new business growth. Eight years later, the decision to team with Websense proved wise as product sales at Accuvant for the last three years have exceeded $10M.

"We started with about 12 employees spread out across our headquarters in Denver and two small offices in Dallas and Minneapolis," says Wilson. "Now, we have 27 locations, over 200 employees, and more than 2,500 customers - many of which are among the Fortune 1000."

Wilson says client demand for Accuvant's expertise on the Websense Data Security Suite has grown steadily over the years. "As businesses come to fully understand the complexities surrounding data security, data loss prevention (DLP) and data leakage, they are demanding more comprehensive solutions from Accuvant," says Wilson.
