Autotask Live: N-able Looks Forward To 2011
By Gennifer Biggs, security, storage, and managed services editor
During the Autotask Community Live event in Miami, I had the opportunity to talk with CEO of N-able, JP Jauvin, and VP of Sales Mike Cullen. The two discussed their company's plans for 2011, all of which are building to the N-able partner event in October.
Innovation was top of the list of outcomes for N-able in 2011, says the two executives, which is carrying forward a focus that started at last year's N-able partner event. "We've seen more innovation in the last 18 months that in this company's history," explained Jauvin, adding that more is on the horizon. Partners can expect to see more security initiatives, and more functionality added to the product, as well as enhanced recovery on demand options. "We want to be one-stop shopping for our partners, with a heavy emphasis on options that can be managed easily through our product," says Cullen, reinforcing the importance of a one-pane-of-glass functionality to N-able partners.
While the two kept their cards close to the chest in terms of what messaging N-able partners can expect this year, they would confirm continued focus on a number of new verticals that the vendor will be helping its customers' tackle, and a plan for expanded distribution this year.
