Best Of ChannelCon Award Winners Announced By CompTIA

Dell, Intermedia and StorageCraft Technology win honors

Three information technology (IT) companies have been recognized by their industry peers as the Best of the ChannelCon Technology Vendor Fair for 2014, CompTIA, the IT Industry Association announced recently.

ChannelCon, the IT channel’s premier partnering and training event, attracted more than 1,800 attendees this month at the live event in Phoenix and a companion virtual conference.

On-site attendees voted for the Best of ChannelCon awards from among 145 companies that participated in the Technology Vendor Fair. The 2014 winners were:

  • Best Hardware – Dell, a provider of integrated technology solutions in the IT industry worldwide.
  • Best Services – Intermedia, a provider of cloud-based IT services and business applications.
  • Best Software – StorageCraft Technology Corp., a provider of backup, disaster recovery, system migration, data protection and cloud services solutions for servers, desktops and laptops.

StorageCraft was also voted the overall Best of Show winner.

“The Best of ChannelCon awards carry added significance because the winners are selected by their industry partners and peers,” noted Nancy Hammervik, senior vice president, industry relations, CompTIA.

Intermedia was also the winner of the ChannelCon 2014 Recruitment Challenge for recruiting the greatest number of channel partners to attend the conference.

“The ChannelCon Recruitment Challenge has quickly become a friendly, yet spirited competition among ChannelCon exhibitors,” said Kelly Ricker, senior vice president, events and education, CompTIA. “That’s a testament to the high quality of educational content, the networking opportunities and the breadth of technology solutions available each year at ChannelCon.”

For the first time in ChannelCon history, much of the conference’s content was available simultaneously to the on-site attendees in Phoenix and to a virtual audience online.

Many of the sessions are still available via video-on-demand. For a complete list of available sessions visit http://channelcon.comptia.org/agenda/channelcon-online#agenda.

ChannelCon 2015 will be held Aug. 3-5, 2015 in Chicago. Updates on next year’s conference will be available at CompTIA Events.(http://www.comptia.org/events)
