New Batteries from GTS are Smart, like the Devices they Power

BlueStar, a leading global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, has joined with Global Technology Systems to bring a revolutionary line of batteries to its customers.  Dubbed "Genius Batteries" by GTS, each unit features an advanced memory chip that continuously calculates the battery's True-State-of-Health, or SoH, providing an up-to-the-minute readout of its condition.   As the battery is used and its health declines, an LED indicator turns yellow, informing the user that they should order a replacement. When the LED turns red, the user knows the battery is no longer reliable and should be replaced. Genius Batteries put critical information where it belongs- in the hands of the users-so they know exactly when to replace the battery: not too soon, and not too late.

The LED indicators are accurate and easy to read, and GTS Genius Technology monitors key internal battery characteristics like usage patterns, charging history, and environmental factors. Users can compare current performance to ideal levels, so they can diagnose device issues, reduce maintenance costs, and manage inventory and assets with more control.
