In this video from VARTECH 2012, BlueStar VP of Marketing Mark Fraker details the distributor’s custom catalog service. BlueStar said the purpose of the service is to allow resellers to produce printed or electronic catalogs that can be as broad or niche as the VAR needs. BlueStar said this service will be available to resellers in Q4 2012.
“If you want a healthcare booklet and you would like it to be 48 pages, you can do so,” Fraker said. “If you want a healthcare book that only has 2-D scanners in it, you can do that as well. If you want a healthcare book that has 2-D scanners that are Honeywell, you can do that. Or if you want a healthcare book that is 2-D scanners that is Honeywell but have an antimicrobial finish on them, you can do that as well. You pick and choose. We like to say: your vertical, your products, your solutions, your way, any time.”
Promoted as a “mobile conference,” BlueStar hosted its annual VARTECH Conference Oct. 5-8 on the Carnival Imagination cruise ship traveling from Miami to Nassau, The Bahamas. Over 1,400 people attend the event with over half of them being the distributor’s top resellers from the U.S. and Latin America.
