Business Solutions Magazine Voted Best By RSPA Membership
Business Solutions magazine recently won the 2011 Gold Vendor of Excellence award in the customer support category from the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA). The RSPA Vendor of Excellence awards are the only awards in the retail technology industry where dealers/VARs/software developers vote for their favorite vendors (one vote per member company). The Gold award, which Business Solutions won for the second straight year, is the highest given in its category.
"Receiving any award is great, but winning the RSPA Gold Award for Customer Support is extra special because it's voted on by the RSPA membership," says Jim Roddy, president of Business Solutions magazine. "It's an honor for them to consider BSM a top performer in the Retail IT channel two years in a row." During the awards presentation, John Giles, president of software developer Future POS and Will Atkinson, president of CAP Software, offered testimonials as to why Business Solutions deserved the award.
In addition to winning the Gold award, Business Solutions magazine had a busy and successful RetailNOW 2011. Roddy moderated the Industry Leaders roundtable featuring top executives from BlueStar, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Ingram Micro, NCR, and ScanSource. Business Solutions Editor In Chief Mike Monocello also moderated a panel discussion on the latest technologies in retail and payments, which featured representatives from Epson, IBM, IHL Services, pcAmerica, Radiant, and StoreNext.
