Business Solutions Receives RSPA 2014 Gold Medallion Award
At the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) RetailNOW 2014 Awards Ceremony on August 5, 2014, the association presented its 2014 Gold Medallion Award to Business Solutions magazine. Each year, the RSPA presents Vendor of Excellence Awards — more than 300 vendors were categorized and selected by RSPA reseller members for the awards, which make them the only industry accolade honoring vendors for channel work, given by the retail channel. Emcee Bob Goldberg, RSPA’s Attorney, announced the winners, concluding with the Gold Medallion Award, presented to BSM, the vendor with the highest number of votes across all categories.
Business Solutions magazine and Jameson Publishing president Jim Roddy says, “We are honored and humbled to receive such a prestigious award from a community that is so important to our channel. We are grateful for the support we receive from the RSPA members, both solutions providers and vendor sponsors. They really make our channel great. Our team is honored to be recognized by them through this award.”
The largest audience in RetailNOW history was on hand for the awards ceremony — this year, the RSPA opened the awards ceremony to all RetailNOW attendees and modified it to be a shorter, high energy reception. As a result, more than 500 attended this year.
Business Solutions is a five-time winner of the RSPA’s Gold Vendor Award of Excellence in the category of Reseller Support Services.
