Carbonite Announces Distribution Agreement With SYNNEX Corporation

Boston, MA (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Carbonite, Inc. (Nasdaq:CARB), a leading provider of backup and recovery solutions for businesses, has expanded its distribution network through an agreement with SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE:SNX), a leading distributor of IT products and services. The agreement allows SYNNEX' CLOUDSolv group to distribute Carbonite's platform of affordable, secure and easy-to-use market-leading cloud backup solutions for small to medium-sized (SMB) businesses. SYNNEX is one of the first distributors to offer Carbonite's plans to their extensive reseller base.

Carbonite Server plans back up an unlimited number of servers and databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange Server, MySQL, Oracle and SharePoint. Carbonite Server also backs up the Windows System State so a server can be completely restored without reconfiguring the operating system or reloading applications. Carbonite Server solutions start at just $799.99 per year.

Carbonite Pro provides backup storage for an unlimited number of computers, external hard drives and NAS devices, starting at $269.99 per year. Additional storage and Windows file server backup are also available with Carbonite Pro.

Carbonite Personal offers unlimited backup for one computer starting at $59.99 per year.
