CharTec Unveils 'CharTec Academy' And Largest MSP Training Facility In New 20,000 Square Foot Complex

CharTec, the SMB channel's leading "Hardware as a Service" (HaaS)/sales training provider, announced recently it has expanded its office space by 10,000 square feet to create the industry's largest MSP training facility for specialized sales, technical, and business process training. CharTec's growth over the year has required greater investment in infrastructure, with the company now serving over 700 partners after beginning in 2010 with less than 200.

CharTec "Academy" will offer IT Service Company CEOs, CFOs and CTOs highly focused business practice education in an intensive two-day session each month. Applicants will be screened based on personal and business credit history, business operation statistics, and annual revenue.

Last year, CharTec assisted partners in generating well over 10 million dollars in managed service revenue, and has developed its own products including CharTec Workstations, Servers, CharTec BDR, CharTec VMS, and CharTec UTM.

Another attraction for CharTec partners and Academy attendees is the opportunity to tour and experience a successful working MSP practice (ARRC Technology) that operates in an adjacent facility. Because of this hands-on MSP solution access, partners receive exposure to new technologies such as VoIP, backup and disaster recovery, tele-presence, digital signage, mobile computing, email, network, internet and IP Security, help desk and NOC services, and RMM solutions.

"For CharTec partners, Academies are an ideal way to receive training, exposure and tools to be able to succeed as an MSP in today's business climate. For vendors, it's an excellent environment to present their company to a sophisticated and highly focused audience," said Alex Rogers, CharTec's CEO. "We are thrilled to be able to offer our community the chance to see nearly every major component of the evolved Modern Office in action, in real time, and give them the tools they need to sell HaaS and run their businesses."

CharTec's list of firsts includes first to create a true MSP "HaaS" offering and deploy it in the channel; first to partner with and receive a ConnectWise Capital investment; first to develop a BDR for MSPs for no upfront cost; and first to cross-integrate industry sales offerings with Outreach Telecomm. So far in 2011, CharTec was awarded the Business Solutions Magazine Channel Innovator Award for Managed Services and voted a Best Channel Vendor for 2011; in 2010, CharTec also received three Channel Insider Bull's Eye Awards and a Best Hardware Product Award from CompTIA.

CharTec Academy will celebrate its grand opening June 15-17 with an exclusive event for vendor and MSP partners, press, and industry luminaries. For more information, visit http://chartec.net/.
