Community Medical Centers (Community) is the largest and most comprehensive hospital system in California's San Joaquin Valley. With several locations in the Fresno metropolitan area, Community utilizes a single sign-on (SSO) system for permanent and shared stations, access to patient records, and door or department access.

The system integrates employee badges along with RF IDeas pcProx® 82 Series badge readers and IBM® Tivoli® SSO access control software. SSO allows employees to login once to gain access to all systems without being prompted to log in again at each of them.

Community serves the fifth largest metropolis in California and is the largest private employer in the Fresno region with more than 6,500 employees and 1,000 affiliated physicians at three acute-care hospitals and a variety of other health care facilities. Community has the only combined burn and Level 1 trauma center between Sacramento and Los Angeles.
