Creditcall Enhances Windows And Linux Retail POS Solution With Support For Miura PINpad

ChipDNA card payment SDKs for Windows, Linux, iOS and Android now support the Miura M007 PINpad for high volume, fixed-lane POS systems as well as mPOS and SME environments.

c, the omni-channel payment gateway and EMV migration specialist and Miura Systems, the market leading mobile point of sale (mPOS) platform provider, recently announced how retail developers, ISVs and VARs can now seamlessly integrate the Miura M007 mPOS PINpad into Windows and Linux based retail POS infrastructure, in addition to iOS and Android based mPOS solutions, by using Creditcall’s ChipDNA SDKs.

Today’s retail environments demand new flexibility in the provision of card based payments. Retailers see the value in mixing traditional, often existing Windows based fixed POS infrastructure, with phone and tablet based SmartPOS solutions which often run on iOS or Android based operating systems. This often means card transaction reporting and management is run on multiple platforms, making it difficult to track all payments in one place. With Creditcall’s omni-channel transaction reporting and management tool, all data can be viewed at-a-glance or in detail, refunds can be issued, performance measured and detailed reports built.

The M007 can be connected securely to a high volume, fixed-lane POS system through its aesthetically appealing and innovative counter-top docking station which incorporates a wired USB connection to the POS terminal PC. It can also be integrated with smart devices such as tablets or smartphones which run on iOS and Android via Bluetooth. Its ability to accept Chip and PIN as well as contactless payments makes it the most versatile solution on the market.

Retail POS developers, ISVs and VARs now have access to all the major platforms and a portfolio of different PINpads including the Miura M007 and M010. ChipDNA is an SDK that can be integrated into Windows and Linux environments as well as to iOS and Android based mPOS payment solutions. In addition to the comprehensive reporting and management tool, it comes with a terminal management system (TMS), point-to-point encryption (P2PE) and tokenization for the highest level of cardholder data protection.

“Creditcall continues to innovate by adding exciting new devices such as the Miura M007 to its payment gateway offering, giving developers, ISVs and VARs increased choice and flexibility to service their end customers with the latest and greatest payment devices and technologies,” said Sian Bosley, VP of Business Development at Creditcall. “This is another great example of the continuing collaboration between Miura Systems and Creditcall.”
