D&H Distributing Will Host New England 2014 Technology Show On August 12

More than 60 Vendor Partners, Six Seminars and a K-12 Education Booth Mark D&H’s 2014 New England Trade Event

D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, will conduct its New England 2014 Technology Show on Tuesday, August 12 at the Boston Marriott Quincy Hotel, Quincy, Massachusetts. Upwards of 500 reseller and dealer attendees are expected for the event, which features more than 60 D&H vendor partners and six educational seminars. 

Seminar sessions will be presented by industry leaders ASUS, Cisco, HP, Intel, Lenovo and Microsoft. Topics include the evolution of the PC, Windows Server 2003 end-of-support, K-12 market opportunities and more. In addition to the presenting manufacturers, participating vendors include Acer, Carbonite, Dell Marketing, Epson, Logitech, Linksys, NETGEAR, McAfee, Plantronics, Ricoh, Samsung, SonicWALL, Sophos, Western Digital and a host of others. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m., seminars run from 12:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and the exhibit floor is open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Registration for the show is free for D&H customers, who can register at dandh.com or contact their account representatives.

The event will feature a K-12 Opportunities booth, where Director of D&H’s Education Division Larry Staub will be available to discuss how the distributor can support sales in this marketplace. In addition, the D&H Solutions Booth will offer information and products on disaster management, with members of the distributor’s Solutions Specialist team on hand to answer questions about how to protect end-users from disruption.

HP will host a special Media and Entertainment booth, spotlighting the company’s new HP ZBook Mobile Workstations and desktop workstations, in addition to the HP DreamColor Professional displays, which are used by designers at the DreamWorks film studio to create cutting-edge computer graphic effects. This booth is in addition to HP’s traditional IT networking exhibit.  

Famous for being active “selling shows,” D&H customers at the show will be privy to special pricing for merchandise ordered on the exhibit floor. Prizes include a Lenovo 15.6-inch IdeaPad Y510P notebook computer with an Intel Core i5 processor; plus a Case Logic 30-inch XN rolling duffel.
