Popular Demo Programs, Volume Delegation and the D&H “Fuel Your SMB Life” Rewards Program Help Support a Major New Server Launch from Lenovo

This industry leading manufacturer recently introduced a powerful set of new ThinkServer technologies for the SMB sector. Both of these new server solutions leverage the latest generation of Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 processing chips (formerly known as Romley).

The models deliver amenities such as increased scalability, “lightning” speeds, easier integration, enhanced remote capabilities, conservative power consumption, sleek design, and the ability to integrate with a virtualized network.  To help its resellers gain more benefits from Lenovo purchases, D&H has developed the “Fuel Your SMB Life” rewards program that provides automatic points and prizes for D&H resellers who buy Lenovo products.

Lenovo’s latest ThinkServer rack servers, including the RD530 and the RD630 models, offer faster and more robust features to facilitate an advanced server, storage and data environment.  In addition, enhanced configuration tools and an intelligent modular design allow for easier deployment compared to many competing solutions. The units are distinguished by the following:

ThinkServer RD530: With a slim chassis and high-performance dual socket Intel Xeon E5-2600 technology, this model is well-suited for computer intensive or virtualized environments, while proving to be 80% faster than previous generations. It boasts up to 16 cores and 320GB of memory performance for a scalable, power-efficient and fast one-rack solution.

ThinkServer RD630: This highly scalable 2U solution offers sophisticated RAID hardware standard on each model. It features web-based remote manageability, built-in redundancy, varied network adapter choices, and rich input/output (I/O). This model also works with the Intel Xeon E5-2600 processors.

Helping the SMB Reseller Capitalize on Servers
To support this initiative, Lenovo has developed a series of VAR programs, including its offering for D&H resellers, which deliver significant volume benefits and discounts. 

They include:  

The Lenovo Partner Demo Program: Resellers who purchase up to 8 ThinkServer units and 12 ThinkServer options (storage, memory, processors, monitors, etc.) will receive discounts of up to 35% off list price. This server merchandise can be used as demo units, seed units or for internal use. VARs can also receive up to 50% off other select items. The number of units available for this promotion each quarter will be based on purchases from the previous quarter.

Lenovo Top-Seller Volume Delegation Program: Resellers who purchase between 2 and 9 ThinkServer units and ThinkServer options receive a 4% discount. Those who purchase between 10 and 200 ThinkServer units and ThinkServer options receive an 8% discount.

D&H’s Lenovo “Fuel Your SMB Life” Program:  D&H developed this exclusive SMB-oriented rewards program to make it easy for resellers of all scales to win prizes, without even a sign-up requirement. VARs simply earn points for each Lenovo purchase, with point amounts varying depending upon the different product categories purchased. Prizes change from quarter to quarter and range from level to level. At the end of the quarter, customers are automatically awarded prizes according to whatever point level they’ve achieved.
