Datamax-O’Neil, a global provider of industrial-grade label- and receipt-printing solutions, announces that it officially launched the new H-Class H-8308p Thermal Printer at the PACK EXPO International 2014, which runs from Nov. 2-5 at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL.

Datamax-O’Neil’s new H-Class H-8308p Thermal Printer is a highly adaptive 8-inch/A4 thermal-printing solution that features an embedded open-source Linux operating system, standard HP-compatible language (PCL) and expanded Managed Print Service capabilities. The result is a thermal-printer solution ideal for a wide range of labels, tags and documents that is extremely easy to integrate, use and maintain, and offers significant energy savings over laser printers. The launch is supported by an “Easy Money” giveaway contest to visitors of Datamax-O’Neil’s booth E-7553.

Datamax-O’Neil offers one of the most complete lines of stationary and portable service printers, which makes its printing solutions the first choice for many in a number of critical applications in processing, packaging, labeling, ticketing, warehousing and distributing operations. From the production line to the point when products are shipped, or at the ticket counter, Datamax-O’Neil thermal printers help manufacturing and transport/ logistics companies, as well as entertainment firms, become more efficient and cost-effective in their operations.

In warehousing operations, for example, once products are packaged and ready for distribution, Datamax-O’Neil offers rugged thermal-printer solutions that can be operated by hand or attached to forklifts or mobile work stations, such as the MP Compact4 Mark II and E-4204A models.

In retail or commercial applications, the H-4212, I-4310E and P-1115S models deliver the print quality and registration that are demanded. Also, the RL4 is the industry’s most rugged portable label printer, which allows the printing of barcode labels at the point of application, whether in the warehouse, at the ticket counter or in the field.

Sponsored by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, PACK EXPO is one of the largest trade shows in the U.S., with more than 2,000 exhibitors, 50,000 attendees and 1.15 million square feet of display space.
