Datto Introduces Comprehensive Integration With Level Platforms

New Datto Service Module, developed through Level Platforms TIP program, allows MSPs to fully manage status, category and priority of Datto devices through the Managed Workplace dashboard

Ottawa, ON, Canada -- Level Platforms announced that Datto Inc. has completed a deep product integration of its backup, disaster recovery and intelligent business continuity solutions with its Managed Workplace remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform.

With this latest integration, Level Platforms continues to solidify Managed Workplace's position as the single platform for MSPs to manage the full range of vendor technologies impacting their end-customer's IT experience. By creating their own custom Service Module in Managed Workplace vendors can simplify reporting, automate workflows and add new features and services to ease the work of their MSP partners, deliver an improved end-customer experience and gain a competitive advantage as their channel partners evolve to become managed services providers.

Developed independently by Datto through the Level Platforms Technology Integration Program (TIP), the new service module provides MSPs with an integrated view into their end-client's IT ecosystem, allowing them to fully manage the status, category and priority of Datto devices and alerts through the Managed Workplace dashboard. In addition, the Service Module provides detailed information on the status of offsite backups, smart drive status and backup device configuration as well as a remote connection directly to the Datto console.

The Datto Service Module is now available for Level Platforms Partners though the Managed Workplace Update Center. Combined with Auto-Monitoring and Persistent State Management features in Managed Workplace, vendors can easily and quickly create almost unlimited new ways to standardize, streamline and automate operations, isolate unique monitoring for specific devices, and much more.

"Expanding our relationship with Level Platforms is another milestone in our commitment to working with leading vendors to deliver competitive advantages for our Partners," said Austin McChord, CEO, Datto. "The result of this technology integration is a more customized experience for MSPs that streamlines Datto device management, simplifies business processes and ultimately will improve the service levels for end-user customers."

Industry's Deepest and Easiest Vendor Integration

The Datto Service Module is the most recent third-party vendor integration with Managed Workplace, with numerous hardware, software and cloud services vendors now enrolled in the Level Platforms TIP program.

Through the TIP program, vendors receive a complete software development kit (SDK) including APIs, sample code, help content and technical support required to develop a Service Module with minimal time and expense. Service Modules are independent software components that are installed in Managed Workplace to provide MSPs with multi-site, site and device levels views of specific products and services to improve operations visibility, monitoring, automation and remediation.

"We are providing MSPs with a truly integrated and customized dashboard to monitor and manage a growing number of third-party vendor products as part of their overall management of an end-client's IT environment," said Gordon Rielly, CTO, Level Platforms. "Our collaboration with vendors such as Datto, combined with innovative auto-monitoring features within Managed Workplace that ease configuration, speed onboarding and enable new levels of integration, broaden the capabilities of our MSP platform. As a result, our Partners are providing more comprehensive monitoring and management, faster response times and improved services levels to help build stronger, long-term relationships with their clients."

The Level Platforms Vendor Alliance program provides vendors the opportunity to create improved channel loyalty, a superior end-customer experience and expanded sales opportunities through a variety of product integration and joint marketing programs.
