DD880: Deduplication Storage For The Core Data Center

The DD880 sets new standards for deduplication performance, with throughput speeds faster per controller than conventional virtual tape library (VTL) systems, and single-stream throughput up to 1.28 TB/hour to enable protection of large databases in short backup windows. With up to 3.5 PB of deduplication storage per system, the DD880 delivers the capacities for long-term online retention for large, consolidated data centers. The DD880 supports replication fan-in from Data Domain systems installed at up to 180 remote offices, making network-efficient disaster recovery a reality for large distributed enterprises.
