D&H Hosts First Trade Show Of The 2015 Season March 19 In City Of Industry, CA

The Distributor Focuses on the Ongoing K-12 Opportunity, Microsoft Server 2003 End-of- Support, and Emerging Technology at its West Coast Technology Show

D&H Distributing, the leading North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, will conduct its West Coast Technology Show 2015 on March 19 at the Pacific Palms Resort in City of Industry, California. This is the first trade show of the 2015 D&H trade show season, focusing on the ongoing K-12 opportunity, the Windows Microsoft Server 2003 end-of-support refresh, and new technologies. Registration for the show is at no cost to D&H resellers.

Event registration begins at 12:00 noon and the exhibit floor is open from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. The show will feature six seminars from top-flight vendors including Cisco, HP, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft and WD. Other industry leaders exhibiting at the show include Acer, ASUS, Brother, Epson, D-Link, NETGEAR, Ricoh, RoBo 3D printing, Samsung, Seagate and Toshiba; plus a roster of peripheral and component vendors including Antec, APC, Case Logic, Cyber Acoustics, NVIDIA, and more.

Manufacturers making their debut at the D&H West Coast event include AddOn computer peripherals, Drobo storage products, Fractal Design components, Google, Hexis Cyber Solutions security, Lenovo System X servers, Livescribe digital pens and tablets, Octa tablet accessories, and Phoenix Audio Technologies. In addition, the show will include a Dell booth with total solutions for consumer and business, introducing Dell Commercial products that are available from D&H for the first time.

The show will feature a “K-12 Opportunity” booth showcasing some of the latest technologies for the classroom, adhering to the administration’s ongoing call for increased technology in schools as per “Common Core” guidelines. Items such as powerful yet economically-priced Chromebooks and Windows notebooks will be exhibited in a mock-classroom setting, in addition to products such as bags, projectors, and cases.

In addition to the K-12 exhibit, a D&H Solutions booth and a Lenovo System X booth will focus on helping resellers address the impending end-of-support deadline for Microsoft’s Server 2003, which is expected to generate notable channel business this year.

As usual, the West Coast Technology Show will be an active “selling show,” offering D&H customers special one-day-only pricing during the event. There will be a Grand Prize bundle of a Lenovo A8-50 16GB tablet and a Brother MFC J5910DW printer, sponsored by Brother; plus one winner at each seminar will receive a $100 American Express gift card.

“As economic forecasts continue to improve, 2015 looks to be a year of opportunity for resellers and integrators,” said Jeff Davis, senior vice president of sales at D&H Distributing. “D&H always leverages its trade shows to steer customers toward the most lucrative opportunities of the year, which this year will include the potential server upgrade cycle and the continued pursuit of business in the education vertical. At our events, we can present the products and knowledge our customers require to secure these sales and open the door to establish long-term relationships as a trusted IT solution provider in the small business community.”
