D&H Ranks As Top Distributor In The 2013 ASCII Distribution Survey Five Years Running

D&H Wins/Ties More Categories Than Any Other Broadline Distributor in the Survey, Increasing its Number of Category Wins by One Over Last Year

D&H Distributing, the major North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, is proud to announce it has once again been ranked as the top distributor in The ASCII Group’s annual Distribution Survey for 2013, winning more categories than any other broadline (full line) distribution partner in the survey. D&H has achieved this distinction five years in a row, every year since the survey has been established. 

The distributor won 8 categories and tied one more out of 14 total categories.  This represents an increase in the number of categories D&H won this year compared to previous years, which evidences a growing satisfaction with D&H’s services among ASCII members.  The company received top marks in every category involving customer service.

• Knowledgeable and helpful sales reps                Post-sales support
• Pre-sales support                                            Quick issue resolution

ASCII’s survey is based on a poll of 100 of this community’s resellers, requesting information on their purchasing preferences.  D&H scored above the average in 10 of 14 categories compared to the other broadline distributors.  The survey also revealed other VAR preferences, e.g., the majority of respondents deemed that price is not a top consideration when selecting a distributor.  As in previous survey years, respondents rated product availability, accurate shipping, and timely shipment as more important than price.  Distribution is consistently named a favored sourcing method of ASCII members.  The surveyed VARs claimed that close to 70% of their overall product purchases are made through distribution, as opposed to other methods.
