Document Management Conversions

Over the last few years, the document management industry has seen a significant amount of consolidation and solution turnover. It is not uncommon for iDatix to find that an organization is looking for a new document management provider despite having one, two or even three systems in place. There is obviously something wrong with this picture. Therefore it is imperative that one understands the problems with existing solutions before finding another solution. Additionally, before moving to another vendor, the organization should determine if the solution provider has experience developing reliable conversions. Ideally, the solution provider will have already created a conversion from the organization's existing system making the process much smoother and cost effective.
