Dolphin RFID Unveils Path Breaking Maintenance And Tour Management Solutions

New Android-based Maintenance Module and Mobile Tour Management System will be demonstrated at RFID Journal LIVE! April 8-10

Dolphin RFID Pvt. Ltd., a leading provider of RFID and security solutions, recently announced two new RFID solutions: The Android-Based Maintenance Management Module, and the Mobile Tour Management System. Dolphin RFID will demonstrate both RFID solutions at the upcoming RFID Journal LIVE! conference and exhibition (Booth # 544A), April 8-10, 2014, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

In the service industry, establishing an accurate data repository with information about the maintenance and service history of each asset is difficult. The use of hand-written work orders and manual data entry can result in untimely and inaccurate information. Dolphin RFID's Android-Based Maintenance Module provides companies with a paper-free way to track asset information using Android-based NFC-enabled mobile devices and RFID tags, automatically capturing maintenance history, GPS data, photographs, and customer signatures. The information can be communicated over common cellular networks and entered into an ERP system via Dolphin's proprietary middleware.

The Mobile Tour Management System is a revolutionary way of conducting group tours that can reduce or eliminate unnecessary delays while improving the experience of customers on the tour. The solution leverages active RFID identification badges and NFC baggage tags to track and trace tour members and their luggage. Operators can easily track guests using an application on their mobile phone to confirm check-in, audit guest lists, locate missing tour members, verify baggage, and even communicate with customers. In this way, tour operators can reduce the amount of time spent searching for guests and their luggage, improving efficiency and making the tour experience safer and more enjoyable for their customers.
