New Android-based Maintenance Module and Mobile Tour Management System will be demonstrated at RFID Journal LIVE! April 8-10

Dolphin RFID Pvt. In the service industry, establishing an accurate data repository with information about the maintenance and service history of each asset is difficult. The use of hand-written work orders and manual data entry can result in untimely and inaccurate information. Dolphin RFID's Android-Based Maintenance Module provides companies with a paper-free way to track asset information using Android-based NFC-enabled mobile devices and RFID tags, automatically capturing maintenance history, GPS data, photographs, and customer signatures. The information can be communicated over common cellular networks and entered into an ERP system via Dolphin's proprietary middleware.

The Mobile Tour Management System is a revolutionary way of conducting group tours that can reduce or eliminate unnecessary delays while improving the experience of customers on the tour. The solution leverages active RFID identification badges and NFC baggage tags to track and trace tour members and their luggage. Operators can easily track guests using an application on their mobile phone to confirm check-in, audit guest lists, locate missing tour members, verify baggage, and even communicate with customers.
