Dual Frequency RFID Reader With Multi-Detection Capability

GAO RFID Inc. is offering this dual frequency RFID reader which operates at 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz allowing it to read a wide variety of RFID tags. This reader is primarily used for access control, system logon/logoff and the identification and authorization of system operators by scanning the user’s RFID enabled card.

This 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz dual frequency RFID reader, model 211004, reads unique serial numbers which can also have a prefix and suffix. It is capable of multi-detection and offers a high baud rate from 2400 bps to 19200 bps. It reads a variety of RFID cards compliant with ISO 14443A Mifare MF, Ultralite and DESfire. The compact unit communicates via RS232 interface. In addition, it is powered by 5 V DC 150 mA to support continuous operation.

This compact dual frequency RFID reader belongs to GAO’s family of 125 kHz LF RFID Readers. This line includes a lot of featured RFID readers that is suitable for different applications.
