EMV Integration Addresses Legacy POS

This POS solutions provider has worked with its payment partner to develop an EMV integration for old RMS systems.

For many retailers, an EMV upgrade comes at the expense of not just new terminal purchases, but often entire POS software and hardware upgrades. Knowing that many of his customers are still using stable, but outdated, versions of Microsoft Dynamics RMS, Dan King, president of New West Technologies, sought to work with his payment partner, OpenEdge, to create an EMV integration that could function with minimal — or no — POS upgrades.
