ENGINEXML For Fast Timeclock Integration

Integrating timeclocks with workforce management software can take months. EngineXML from Accu‐Time Systems cuts that time to mere days. The newly released EngineXML software is a power‐packed terminal management and integration application. It packages much of the functionality that software developers spend months writing.

EngineXML significantly reduces terminal integration, maintenance, support and development efforts. Workforce management solution providers and payroll companies can now greatly reduce their time‐to‐market. Furthermore, their development resources can be redirected toward core competencies. EngineXML provides comprehensive and centralized terminal management. The user interface provides important visibility into the health of the terminals as well as communication with the host software. EngineXML also provides the ability to remotely handle firmware updates across logical groupings.

According to Peter DiMaria, President of ATS, “We developed EngineXML with the goal of eliminating a tremendous amount of initial and ongoing effort by our partners to develop their software around workforce management appliances. Anything that makes our partners’ jobs easier is always a direction to explore and a priority to execute at ATS. EngineXML also helps our partners serve their customers better by providing increased terminal visibility and a remote terminal management tool.”

Communication between the terminal, EngineXML, and the workforce management software uses platform‐independent XML and secure HTTP(S). Data is transferred on‐demand through a near real‐time batch process. EngineXML uses industry standards and protocols to deliver a modern, scalable, robust and flexible integration resulting in a more simplified configuration and deployment.
