Epson Named Best Channel Vendor In Business Solutions Magazine Annual Survey

Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, announced that it was named Best Channel Vendor for the 6th time since the award’s inception in 2009, in the POS Hardware Technology category by Business Solutions Magazine (BSM). BSM conducted a web-based survey of VAR, MSP and ISV subscribers from mid-September through early October and collected a total of 8,848 votes from 2,921 participants, making it the largest survey of its kind. The survey was published in its January 2015 issue.

“We are proud that our partners voted again for Epson as Best Channel Vendor,” said Tom Kettell, senior manager of North American Sales for Epson’s Business Systems. “Our commitment to the channel program is stronger than ever and we will continue to deliver the products and services that meet the needs of our partners and their customers.”

The top 5% of vendors in each surveyed technology category were selected as Best Channel Vendors. To ensure statistical accuracy, BSM partnered with Penn State University and asked VARs to rate their vendors based on seven categories including: Service/Support, Channel Friendly, Channel Program, Product Features, Product Reliability, Product Innovation and Adequate VAR Margins. Epson’s highest rankings were in Product Reliability, Product Innovation and Product Features, earning the company the title of Best Channel Vendor.
