Field Nation Acquires FieldSolutions

Acquisition Allows Field Nation to Advance Freelance Management System and Vendor Workforce Tools

Field Nation, a leading work platform connecting organizations with independent contractors to get work done, recently announced it will acquire FieldSolutions, based in Minnetonka, Minn. This is the first pure-play, intra-industry acquisition in the Freelance Management System (FMS) marketplace, in North America. Financial terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed.

Field Nation and FieldSolutions have both evolved as innovators in the industry. In just seven years, Field Nation has become one of the largest providers of online work platforms, with more than 50,000 registered users. The Field Nation platform enables enterprises to use a single cloud-based solution to find, manage and pay contractors for any job anywhere in North America. FieldSolutions delivers flexible staffing and proprietary on-line software automation and IT services to technology enterprises and technology service companies.

In September 2014, Field Nation relocated to the 23rd floor of the AT&T Tower in Minneapolis to accommodate the company’s growth. FieldSolutions employees will join the Field Nation team at its headquarters. Once the integration is complete, Field Nation will employ more than 100 full-time employees.
