6fusion Partners with Broadcloud to expand iNode Network in Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas, NV – 6fusion, a leading provider of utility-metered public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure management software and services, in conjunction with Broadcloud, a leading provider of managed hosting, private IT cloud solutions, and managed security solutions, today announced a new partnership to add the Broadcloud Las Vegas SSAE 16 SOC 2 certified datacenter to the 6fusion iNode Network. The announcement was made from the HP Discover conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in which both 6fusion and Broadcloud are participating.

The new Las Vegas iNode location expands 6fusion’s iNode Network westward. Broadcloud’s Las Vegas data center joins the existing iNode locations in Toronto, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta, Littleton, MA, and Spartanburg, SC.  This new location expands the choices that 6fusion users have when selecting datacenter locations in which to deploy cloud workloads.

“Broadcloud is excited to bring enhanced value, flexibility, and security solutions to the 6fusion iNode Network and looks forward to providing 6fusion customers the world class service that all our customers have come to rely on from Broadcloud around the world” said Brent Eubanks – EVP Strategic Services at Broadcloud. “6fusion’s unique approach to the infrastructure-as-a-service model and WAC metering metric gives us the ability to efficiently deliver on the ever increasing demand for Broadcloud services from across the global 6fusion ecosystem.”

“The 6fusion iNode Network gives us access to highly available, SLA driven compute resources in a pure pay-as-you-go model”, says, Mehdi Imadian of Cloudfluence, a 6fusion Cloud Service Provider Partner. “With 6fusion we can focus on delivering innovative cloud based solutions to our customers, without having to tie up capital and staff building and managing internal resources.  This new location provides coverage for our key target markets giving us even more choice when deploying customer workloads.”

The 6fusion iNode Network is a collection of third party data centers that provide public and private cloud resources in an on demand, pay-per-use model.  A true utility, all resources consumed in the iNode Network are measured by 6fusion’s metering algorithm, the Workload Allocation Cube, creating a commercial standard to quantify supply and demand for compute resources.

Modular Data Protection Services, another 6fusion Cloud Service Provider Partner, is leveraging the Las Vegas iNode for its extensive customer base as well. “The 6fusion iNode Network provides us tremendous flexibility, scalability and global reach, making it an ideal infrastructure platform for the data protection solutions that we deploy to our service provider clients. We are pleased to be a part of the continued expansion of the iNode Network and look forward to expanding the range of data protection capabilities we make available through 6fusion,” says Modular DPS co-founder Danny Deganis.

“The Las Vegas iNode is an ideal place for us to protect our critical business data,” says Gary Hendershot VP of Finance and Administration at Padgett Business Services, a 6fusion user and franchisor with more than 400 locations across North America. “It provides a fully featured and secure cloud backup and disaster recovery location with no capital outlay, allowing us to protect our data outside our home region without having to build out our own infrastructure. Modular DPS worked with Padgett to develop a service deployment plan that addressed all of Padgett’s requirements around leveraging the public cloud with 6fusion for our business needs.”

“Continuing to build out the iNode Network to provide comprehensive national and international geographic coverage by partnering with leading cloud infrastructure partners is a key aspect of 6fusion’s strategy” said Rob Bissett, VP of Product Management & Marketing for 6fusion “We are excited about this new partnership with Broadcloud and look forward to leveraging their infrastructure, security, and networking expertise and broad range of locations to help our customers succeed.”
