6fusion Launches New Channel Partner Programs

Enhanced programs designed to accelerate utility-metered cloud revenue streams for VAR’s, MSP’s and IT service providers

6fusion, a provider of utility-metered public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructure management software and services, recently announces the launch of a revamped lineup of channel partner programs designed to better help Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs) expand their product portfolios to include both public and private cloud services.

The new Cloud Service Provider and Cloud Reseller programs were developed in conjunction with 6fusion’s current resellers and incorporate many lessons learned as well as new elements designed to help 6fusion’s channel partners drive deeper relationships with their current client base and expand new customer adoption.

The  Cloud Service Provider Program is designed for MSPs servicing SMB clients, and puts specific emphasis on delivering client solutions based on 6fusion’s public cloud offering called the iNode Network. The Cloud Service Provider Program enables MSP’s to add Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) to their portfolio without significant capital expenditures on hardware and software, operations staffing or contractual commitments.

The New Cloud Reseller Program is focused on larger VARs servicing the midmarket and enterprise markets, and puts significant emphasis on developing utility-metering solutions based on  Cloud Resource Meter, as well as private and hybrid cloud solutions centered on the  Enterprise iNode offering. Cloud Reseller Partner Program members also get access to the 6fusion Cloud Starter Kit — a complete, out-of-the-box, cloud offering designed to help get enterprises started with their private clouds.

‘We were initially attracted to the 6fusion offering due to their unique utility-metered cloud approach” said Scott Miller, Director of Cloud and Virtualization, at World Wide Technology Inc, ‘the launch of these new programs creates more opportunities for us to succeed”.

Both partner programs include a rich variety of tools, technology, and sales and marketing support resources to help partners drive success including: end user free trials, deal registration, quoting and pricing tools, telemarketing support, event co-sponsorship and market development, dedicated sales support, and access to our alliance partner ecosystem.

‘We see the channel as a critical component of the cloud value chain”, says Rob Bissett, VP of Product Management and Marketing at 6fusion, ‘investing in our partners success by providing sales support, marketing support, and sharing successful business practices is simply good business —  it helps everyone achieve success”.

The new partner programs are available now.  To learn more about these programs, and to get started offering cloud services, visit http://www.6fusion.com/partner-programs/. We encourage you to attend a webinar on April 17th at 2PM EDT providing more detail on these programs. You can register for the webinar  here.

About 6fusion
6fusion provides a utility-metered cloud management platform that enables global workload distribution by turning public, private and hybrid clouds into pay-per-use billable utilities. The unique metering algorithm, Workload Allocation Cube (WAC), creates a commercial standard to quantify supply and demand for compute resources.

For IT service providers, enterprises and independent software vendors, and Infrastructure Owners/Operators, 6fusion simplifies and streamlines Infrastructure-as-a- Service (IaaS) via a single console that provides valuable insight into consumption, performance benchmarking and cost allocation without vendor lock-in.
