Future POS Celebrates 15 Year Anniversary With A Bang!

John Giles, President of “Future POS” (www.Future POS.com) recently returned home from St. Pete Beach Florida where he celebrated hiscompany’s 15 Year Anniversary. TheAnnual Dealer Conferencehosted over 200 attendees including dealer and vendor partners representing the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, and Canada.

In an industry that boasts many competitors, Giles has been honored yearly by his peers with many prestigious industry awards including the Retail Providers Associations “Gold Medallion”, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, Business Solutions Top Product and Vendor awards as well as Vertical Systems Reseller Magazines Innovative Solutions Awards.

The three day event kicked off on Friday Night with a welcome reception that included dinner, opening remarks and a touching video of the inspirational story of the company’s humble beginnings. Giles was presented with a huge anniversary cake and a champagne toast was made in his honor by his wife and company Vice President, Kelly Giles.

Other memorable moments included a Keynote Address by Dick Hoyt, of “Team Hoyt” (www.teamhoyt.com) on Saturday with a message of “Yes We Can”. Team Hoyt, who won an Espy Award in July, was an inspiration to everyone in the room. The story was one of motivation because Hoyt has participated in over 1,000 marathons, races and triathlons with his handicapped son who he pushes in a wheelchair.

During his State of the Union Speech to his dealers, company President John Giles announced that Future POS who specializes in restaurant Point of Sale has once again seen amazing growth in its software sales by 21% over last year.He also talked about the direction of the software company and his belief to continue to invest heavily in research and development. According to Giles, “We willcontinue tohire tech savvy programmers who can deliver the latest and greatest in software technology to make us unstoppable in 2014”.“Our pipeline for the Future is Bright said Giles”.

The next two days included a vendor fair as well as break-out education seminars for their dealer partners.  The 15 Year Celebration literally ended with a “Bang” with a surprise 20 Minute Beach Firework Spectacularat the beautiful Trade Winds Resort and Spa.
