Genetec Announces New Version of Synergis Master Controller, General Availability of its New SV-32 Network Security Appliance and New AutoVu Plate Reader Server

At the annual IFSEC tradeshow (Stand #F1210), Genetec, a leading provider of unified IP security solutions, will demonstrate the latest enhancements in Security Center, its unified security platform that blends video surveillance (Omnicast), access control (Synergis) and AutoVu its automated number plate recognition (ANPR). Access Control: Genetec Releases New Version of Synergis Master Controller
The Synergis Master Controller (SMC) is an intelligent IP controller engineered to address long standing customer demand for non-proprietary access control solutions. The latest version of SMC (v2.2) adds new features and support for an increasing list of popular security modules and wireless locks from HID Global, Salto, ASSA ABLOY, Axis Communications and DDS.

SV-32 Network Security Appliance
Now available for Genetec Channel Partners in the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania, the SV-32 is the most recent addition to the Genetec network security appliance product line. Designed for customers that require a small size Network Video Recorder (NVR)-retail and banking organizations, for example-the SV-32 supports up to 32 IP cameras and offers local viewing and recording capabilities. Powered by Genetec Security Center, the SV-32 ships with pre-installed software, verified hardware configurations and a new intuitive Installer Assistant tool, which is included with the entire line of SV network security appliances to further facilitate and accelerate the configuration and commissioning of customers' surveillance systems.

Genetec and Schiphol Airport Host Seminar
On Tuesday June 17, at 4:00pm in the Convergent Solutions Theatre, Genetec will welcome executives from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport to a jointly hosted seminar titled Crucial Aspects of Airport Security Video Surveillance. Mr. Bjorn O. Gunderson and Charles M. Hendriks from Schiphol will share insights on the largest camera system in the Netherlands, delivering insight on how this international airport was able to heighten efficiency, reduce costs and enact a plan for system growth.
