Army To Upgrade EMR System

The U.S. Army is preparing to upgrade its EMR system. An article in The Gateway states Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4), the current Army EMR system, will use a new iteration of the MC4 software suite, known as EMR 2.2.0.0, that includes an upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 and enhancements for medical logistics.

Academia Offers Resources for Government IT

Fed Tech lists seven academic resources for government technology leaders, and how their research and insight are of value. The resources listed are: The Center for Technology in Government at the University at Albany; Pepperdine University School of Public Policy; the Governance Lab @ NYU; Government 2.0; Stanford Social Innovation Review; Harvard Kennedy School of Government; Texas A&M University Bush School of Government and Public Service.
