HP ElitePad Mobile Retail Solution makes mobile commerce easy
The HP ElitePad Mobile Retail Solution helps deliver great customer service and improve operational efficiency with a mobile solution driven by the HP ElitePad 1000 Windows-based tablet. With a durable case to help protect the tablet, the solution accepts a range of third-party payment entry devices, and easily connects to the HP Retail Expansion Dock for an instant fixed POS workspace – providing a smooth transition from mobile to traditional POS.

The unique case solution allows retailers to physically attach a mobile payment device (PED or PIN entry device) of choice to the case from vendors like Ingenico Group, Verifone and AnywhereCommerce, and accept a range of payments such as EMV, NFC, MSR, and most digital wallets. Ideal for small and medium-size businesses, the solution also features Intel Data Protection Technology for secure transactions. Additionally, HP is

working with Microsoft and FreedomPay on the RealTime Retailing initiative. HP’s suite of connected devices leverage transaction data from the FreedomPay platform and intelligence on the Azure cloud to deliver secure and targeted incentives to customers.

Built-for retail products deliver great customer experience
The HP MP9, Model 9000 is a compact high-performance platform that meets the demands of a retail environment. The Model 9000 offers a range of operating systems, processors, and storage options to provide flexible connectivity.

The MP9 incorporates 4th generation Intel Core vPro processors, up to 16 GB memory(2), and can run on the Windows or FreeDOS operating system. Customers can add a display, keyboard, mouse, cash drawer, barcode scanner, printer, and more with inputs that support productivity and retail peripherals.

The HP EliteOne 800 G1 Retail System fits perfectly into any retail or hospitality environment. Its style, plus enterprise-class power, performance and reliability are ideal for associate- and customer-facing situations. The EliteOne is impressively versatile, allowing it to be deployed on a counter, in a kiosk, or even on a wall. The system includes a slim, 23-inch diagonal edge-to-edge projected capacitive touchscreen display, 4th generation Intel processors and choice of storage options.

The HP EliteOne 800 G1 Retail System keeps business and customer information safe with hardware and software features that help protect devices and data, including TPM encryption, a lockable I/O security cover and options such as SED drives or an NFC security module. HP customers can manage and safeguard critical business data and devices with a full suite of software tools from HP.

The HP LD4730a and LD4730Ga 47-inch diagonal micro-bezel video wall displays are perfect for large video wall installations designed to attract attention. These HP large-format displays (LFDs) are upgraded to support both full HD and 4K resolutions, reduced bezel width, and utilize less power. They can also use simplified Video–Over–Ethernet (VOE), an HP-exclusive video input, to more efficiently manage and deploy network-attached displays. The HP Network Sign Manager Software helps remotely control and manage LAN-connected LFDs in different physical locations. These LFDs use HP’s leading DreamColor color management technology to help ensure simplified color matching on all video wall displays and peak performance with vibrant colors and deep rich tones.

HP retail systems allow for secure transactions with Intel Data Protection Technology. The Intel Data Protection Technology for transactions combines software optimized for retailers with Intel hardware, including Intel Core and select Intel Atom processors, to deliver a high level of security from the start of a transaction until transaction data is stored on a bank server.

HP’s new retail solutions will be demonstrated at booth #3143 at NRF in New York, Jan. 11-14.
