Accenture, Aegis, Shinetech Software among leaders for 2016.
The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has released its 2016 Global Outsourcing 100 list, and Accenture, Aegis, and Shinetech Software were among this year’s leaders.
The Global Outsourcing 100 serves as a reference for companies seeking new and expanded relationships with the best companies in the industry. Judging is based on a rigorous scoring methodology that includes a review by an independent panel of IAOP customer members with extensive experience in selecting outsourcing service providers and advisors for their organizations.
For the 11th consecutive year, Accenture made the list, this year receiving several special distinctions for Sustained Excellence for making the cut five or more years running and for All Star Company for its overall high provider rating. Additional recognitions cover growth, customer references, global scope, and innovations.
Another leader on the list was Aegis, which has been named with this coveted distinction in the Leaders category of Global Outsourcing 100 list for the 6th consecutive year. Aegis is recognized by the IAOP for its performance in five survey assessment categories including Size and Growth, Customer References, Awards & Certifications, Programs for Innovation, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
“Buyers understand there are hundreds of qualified service providers and advisors out there, but what they really need to understand now is what makes each one exceptional,” said IAOP CEO, Debi Hamill. “The Global Outsourcing 100 and World’s Best Advisors lists have done just that. We’re proud to recognize Aegis for being among the highest rated companies in company recognition and certifications, corporate social responsibility and size of employees.”
The Global Outsourcing 100 list recognizes industry leaders that provide the full spectrum of IT outsourcing services. An independent panel of industry-recognized leaders judge companies on five key areas: size and growth, customer references, awards and certifications, programs for innovation and corporate social responsibility. The final list is composed of the top 75 Leaders and top 25 Rising Stars.
“Choosing the right partners is more important than ever. Companies that outsource, not only in the traditional sense but also through the wide array of the ever-changing collaborative business models are scrutinizing their providers very closely,” said Hamill. “The GO100 is the definitive guide to help companies research and compare service providers with whom they are considering relationships.”
