IEE Introduces New ScanVue 8000 Customer Interactive Kiosk To Retailers At NRF's Big Show 2014

IEE Inc. is introducing their new Customer Interactive Kiosk, the ScanVue 8000, to retailers attending the National Retail Federation’s Big Show 2014 in New York City this January. This new touch-screen, multi-purpose hardware will make it possible for retailers to offer the latest echelon of interactive information to their customers, including product videos, loyalty programs, “buy now” coupons, gift registry, catalog information and much more, all available to enhance the in-store experience.

Thomas Winfrey, president of IEE, noted, “Today’s connected consumer expects a higher level of information in the store to complement what is available online. This opens up a new set of business challenges for brick-and-mortar locations, and the ScanVue 8000 is designed to help meet those challenges.”

The ScanVue 8000 offers an 8-inch Diagonal SVGA LCD Display with a resistive touch screen and 1D/2D scanner which connects by either wire (Ethernet) or wireless (802.11b). With its optional external serial printer and optional magnetic stripe reader, the ScanVue 8000 can be adapted to a multitude of uses for the retailer.

The ScanVue 8000 will be demonstrated at the IEE booth # 3669 at the NRF Big Show 2014 Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Center, New York City, January 13 and 14, 2014.
